Baudeshwar jharna popularly known as Jhor jharana is located in the northern hills of Kathmandu near Tokha. It is located at about 9 kilometers from Samakhusi Chowk and can be reached within an hour's drive from Kathmandu.The place offers stunning views of lush green forest and a natural spring waterfall flowing from a single rock, there is also a temple hidden inside a cave.The cave is highly revered by hindu devotees because according to hindu mythology this is the place where lord Shiva hid after Parvatis body fell. Accordingly, this site is of great significance to hindus.

Visiting this place one can beautifully recharge their body, mind and soul.The temple inside the cave is only opened on Mondays and Saturdays. So if one is planning to visit this place for religious purpose you should visit it on Saturdays and Mondays and if you are planning to visit it as peaceful holiday you can visit it on remaining working days.
